Luxury complex opens in Dubai
A new marina, yacht club and luxury hotel development has opened in Dubai in time for the city's annual boat show. The Dubai Marina Yacht Club will eventually have over four berthing areas catering for 500 boats of up to 35 metres in length. Situated along the Dubai Marina Canal with easy access both to the Arabian Sea and the city centre, it promises to be a major attraction for visiting yachts.
Several restaurants, a shopping arcade, chandlery, brokerage office and a boat repair facility will all be on site. The 63-storey Downturn Burj Dubai hotel has also opened nearby.
