International Yacht Collection has introduced Carbon Offsetting at its Monaco office.

They began by balancing the estimated greenhouse gas emissions from their own activities in 2009 and have now extended the concept so that clients can balance the carbon footprint from their yachts' engines.

The service is being provided by Yacht Carbon Offset and has been Certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.

The audit includes a detailed review of the process by which the greenhouse gas emissions of the company's clients are balanced by reductions from independently verified projects around the world.
