Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show promises enhanced visibility for superyachts

Thanks to a collaboration between the Superyachts Builders Association (SYBAss) and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, superyacht builders will be able to benefit from a new platform to display their latest creations and future builds.

The SYBAss Pavillion will showcase the world’s leading superyacht builders on a custom-built floating air-conditioned barge along the Intracoastal Waterway at Bahia Mar, the show’s central location. Adding to the new show design is a revamped superyacht docking layout, offering show attendees up-close profile views of the largest yachts in the show.

These show enhancements combined with other show developments including improved signage, an integrated digital experience, more convenient parking options and a layout redesign to the Broward County Convention Center show location, add to the evolution of the largest in-water marine industry event in the world.

“We continue to work year over year to produce a show that excites the boating public and our exhibitors,” said Andrew Doole, senior vice president and COO of Show Management. “Our new partnership with SYBAss and the many other show enhancements we are working on for the 2011 show will surely stand out and prove to be very exciting.”

This year looks to be bigger than ever, spanning six sites. It will feature more than $3 billion worth of boats, yachts, super yachts, electronics, engines and thousands of boating accessories from every major marine manufacturer and boat builder across the globe, as well as exotic cars, clothing and jewelry. Other activities at the boat show include marine seminars, fishing clinics, live musical entertainment and an International Food Garden.

The Fort Lauderdale Internation Boat Show will run between October 27th and October 31st. For more information, please check the website.
