Mondomarine has announced the sale of its 54-metre M54, a Luca Dini-designed displacement yacht created for exploration
The steel and aluminium M54 comes in at 800 gross tonnes and delivers a top speed of 17 knots. The yacht’s interior will be developed in close co-operation with the owner. The sale was conducted in co-operation with Kevin Bonnie of IYC Monaco.
Initial renderings show two huge windows each side in the main deck forward, a helipad on the foredeck and a hot-tub on the sundeck, with an enclosed area amidships on the sundeck. The standard layout is four guest cabins on the lower deck (two doubles and two twins), a master on the main deck, and a further guest suite forward of the upper deck media lounge. The yacht is in build, with delivery due by spring 2017.
Mondomarine announced the sale of an M40 earlier in the year and also revealed details of a new 60-metre concept.
