Currently in build at the Rossinavi yard is the 38.5-metre steel-and-aluminium superyacht Taransay. She'll be ready to launch next month.

Harking back to the early days of gentleman’s motor yachting, the design has been created by Rossinavi and STB Italia, but packs in plenty of modern comforts. One of the most challenging aspects of the build was finding the various skills needed to build a reproduction of an old vessel. Many of the components of the had to be fashioned from scratch. “It may sound strange to say it, but we have never applied so much technology to a boat even though it looks a hundred years old!” says Rossinavi’s chief operating office Federico Rossi.

The interior has been designed by Studio Tassin and from the renderings has a traditional feel, with dark woods and leather. The yard is also working on an even bigger project, dubbed the ‘Classic 56’.
