IYC ended 2012 on a high note after three yachts were sold in a period of just 35 days.
The 56-metre Benetti Four Aces, built in 2005 and refitted in 2010, had an asking price of $34.9 million and was sold by IYC’s Mark Elliott and Burgess’s Rupert Nelson. The seven-stateroom yacht features a private owner’s gym and a full array of water toys including waverunners, windsurfers, wakeboards and paddle boards.
Broker Kevin Bonnie also sold two yachts, the 36-metre Palmer Johnson Anna J, which saw refits in both 2010 and 2011, and the 28-metre Mangusta Bear Market.
Anna J is a fast superyacht with a top speed of 30 knots and was designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. She was the first yacht in the series of the Ray Hunt hull, which was the basis of the Palmer Johnson Express. Her asking price was €3.95 million.
Bear Market, although sold, is still available for charter through IYC Monaco. She features exterior furnishings that have been recently replaced and new sunbeds up top. The broker highlights the yacht’s technological equipment as highly modern, with 3G wi-fi throughout plus HD TVs, iPod docks and Blu-ray players in the master, VIP and guest suites. Her asking price was €1.95 million.
