If the faraway appeal of Tahiti is strong this season, Ocean Independence has no less than four sailing superyachts in the region. The stunning 37-metre Bliss (shown), a 2009 launch from Yachting Developments, sleeps ten and is available from $92,000pw. With room for 12 guests, Douce France is a 42-metre from Alumarine, chartering from €95,000pw. For smaller parties, there’s Nephele, a 34-metre McMullen & Wing, with room for six from $69,000pw, and the Privilege catamaran Cattitude, just 22.5 metres long, but capable of sleeping eight and chartering from $45,000pw. Even if the diving and snorkelling don’t appeal, the wonderful unspoiled cruising grounds will win you over. The best months are May to October, with a bit more humidity and rain outside of this, though the temperature stays around 27˚C all year.
