The 67-metre Philippe Briand-designed Vertigo is heading for a winter of chartering through Y.CO in Antarctica, followed next year by Patagonia and the South Pacific.
Vertigo – launched by Alloy Yachts in 2011 – accommodates up to 12 guests. The Christian Liaigre interior uses a palette of walnut, creams and blacks to create a loft style for relaxed living. Guest features include an open-air cinema, a big Jacuzzi with retractable sunpads, and a gym with access to the sea. The garage is packed with toys, including an eight-metre limo tender, sailing dinghies, kayaks, paddleboards, scuba equipment, inflatables and towables. The yacht’s twin guest cabin has an upper bunk, making it a good solution for kids.
The yacht will head to Antarctica later this month and cruise Patagonia in March. Between May and June next year, the yacht will cruise the South Pacific. Charter rates are from €295,000 per week in Antarctica, and from €245,000 per week in the South Pacific.
