Sunrise has unveiled its latest concept, a modern explorer superyacht designed by Tony Castro.
The 68-metre modern explorer has been designed with global circumnavigations in mind, her design harks back to the rugged heritage of offshore supply vessels and fishing boats, while looking forward for today’s modern explorers.
Large windows throughout the yacht allow guests to view the most remote corners of the globe from wherever they are on board.
Her super-efficient hull is created using Tony Castro’s well established naval architecture credentials and with the latest CFD techniques, which results in greater efficiency and range.
The modern explorer superyacht demands smaller vessels for trips ashore and a helicopter as a minimum. Sunrise’s concept goes one step further, and boasts room for a helicopter in a climate controlled garage, twin limo tenders, a car, submarine, various jet skis, paddleboards and a variety of inflatables water toys.
Her well-thought-out layout also includes all the modern amenities a superyacht can offer, including a full beam enclosed observation deck with retractable roof, a cinema, beach club, sauna, scuba diving pool, gymnasium, aft swimming pool and wine cellar. Accommodation is for 12 guests and 15 crew.
