Wider have announced plans for the new 125, with diesel electric propulsion and styling by Fulvio de Simoni
The all aluminium yacht is designed by Fulvio de Simoni, who is also responsible for the styling of previous models, and is in keeping with the distinct Wider style. Diesel electric propulsion applies technology usually seen on much larger yachts, and the yacht is capable of running on battery only in zero emission mode. With a top speed of 14 knots, the yacht has a range of 3600 nautical miles at ten knots.
The bow houses the electrical control room, meaning that guest quarters extend further aft than usual. Four guest cabins below deck sleep 10 people, with the master stateroom on the main deck. A beam of 7.9 metres allows for a large salon on the main deck, with floor to ceiling windows making the most of the view.
Forward of the wheelhouse is a large seating area, recessed into the superstructure. Aft, the stern garage opens up and the swim platform extends to create a large beach club and plunge pool.
