Superyacht builders CRN and Riva, both part of the Ferretti Group, have teamed up with artist Christian Jankowski for an exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw. The installation called ‘The Finest Art on the Water’ features a rendering of a 68-metre CRN concept designed by Officina Italiana Design and a limited edition Aquariva Cento (below). In the installation, the viewer is walked through the interior of the 68-metre by video, which “implicates, involves and engages the spectator”, says the yard, adding that Jankowski’s aim is to engage directly with the idea of sales and exchange, and the value of luxury goods.

“The yacht is the perfect sculpture, a perfect self-contained vessel of information,” says the artist. “We are really excited to be showcasing our collaboration at Christian Jankowski’s exhibition and to have the opportunity to engage with people in this unique way. Our yachts combine cutting-edge technology with stunning designs, premium materials and the finest craftsmanship. This project allows us to work in an environment which transcends a yacht from an object to a piece of art,” says Luca Boldrini, CRN Sales & marketing director.

The exhibition, which is entitled ‘Heavyweight History’ and is curated by Ewa Gorzadek, is a major retrospective of the Berlin-based artist’s most important works from 1992 to 2012. His work synthesises film, photography, sculpture and objects. The exhibition runs from June until August 25.
