‘Crucified for its sins against the climate’ reads the tongue-in-cheek label for this Daimler-turned-cabinet, whose open roof has been turned into shelves and its boot into a leather-lined minibar.

It was made for an energy neutral house called Dutch Mountain, the first project by denieuwegeneratie, a design firm based in Amsterdam. Lucas Mol, the owner of the house, adapted the Daimler with local craftsmen, and says he is happy to take orders for further pieces.
