Marcus New Bond Street, London

Marcus of London will be hosting a collection of specially commissioned and exceptional watches at its store in New Bond Street later this year. As well as pieces by Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Breguet, Hublot, MB&F, Urwerk, Greubel Forsey, Richard Mille, Franck Muller and Piaget, the exhibition will also feature a collection of 70 vintage timepieces by Audemars Piguet dating from 1899 to 1970.

Marcus’ aim is to feature unique pieces that are unavailable elsewhere and that mark the apex of horology. The exhibition, which takes place between July 2 and October 2, will be accompanied by a limited-edition catalogue in the form of two books that will be boxed as a set and will become collector’s items in their own right. The first will be the ‘Unique Pieces and Haute Joaillerie Collection’, and the second will show the Audemars Piguet Collection.

The exhibition coincides with the opening of the Marcus store ten years ago, the 70th birthday of store owner Marcus Marguiles, and his late father’s arrival in the UK 80 years ago.
