After 18 months of construction Albany Marina located at Providence Point in the Bahamas will start welcoming its first superyachts early next month.
The first phase of the resort development was completed in August including a 71-slip marina with a mile-long, 45m (150ft) wide channel and a 15-acre deepwater basin with a depth of 4.8m (16ft).
The largest finger piers in the marina range from 15m-73m (50ft-240ft).
Superyachts will benefit from Albany Marina’s gangways which are rated for use by golf carts and large vehicles as well as the concierge services and first-class crew facilities.
The resort will eventually boast an Ernie Els-designed golf course, marina residences, an equestrian center, and a luxurious beach club.
Slips are being sold through membership with the Albany Yacht Club.
