Ouranos is the second 50-metre-plus yacht from the yard in a little over two weeks.

Hot on the heels of 55-metre Quinta Essentia is Ouranos, the first in the C Force 50 range. Built for a repeat client, the yacht will spend the summer cruising the Mediterranean, before ending the season at the Monaco Yacht Show and then departing for the Caribbean.

Exterior design by Jure Bukavec from Uniellé Yacht Design who explains: “The C Force 50 Ouranos follows the Admiral C Force fleet exterior styling concept. Modern and aggressive lines are emphasized by Ouranos’ black and white simplicity. I believe we have succeeded in effectively solving the challenge of designing a 50 meter yacht with under 500 gross tonnage with a clean styling solution which shows that a design limitation can sometimes lead to a better and more innovative result.
“One of the most notable features of the C Force fleet is the double high central window. There are several design variations of it including one with a balcony. The main idea is to bring more light where is the most needed, into the main and upper deck salon. In this way, we create a penthouse style interior ambiance. Seen from the exterior, the window is a straight vertical cut which doesn’t interrupt the exterior lines.”

The sundeck is the yacht’s designated party space, and features a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. Under the hard top is a large bar and dining table, which are protected from any wind by a retractable awning system and wind screens, allowing for ‘al fresco’ dining even on breezier days. A dedicated staircase allows for discreet movement of crew from the pantry on the bridge deck below.

Interiors are by Arch. Gian Marco Campanino together with Admiral Centro Stile, and inspiration has been taken from natural materials and a ‘less is more’ approach.
Coming in at 499 gross tonnes, the steel and aluminium full displacement yacht will have a top speed of around 17 knots.
