Andrew Williams will be stepping down from the Board at Princess Yachts and will be leaving at the end of November.



According to an official statement, the departure is “an amicable one for reasons understood by all involved”.



Mr Williams, a self-confessed “admirer” of the people, products and achievements of Princess Yachts, explained that he has “always harboured a desire to strike out on my own in business and feel that now is the right time to do so”.



Chris Gates, Managing Director of Princess Yachts, said: “Andy has made a committed and significant contribution to the company and this is evident in his desire to complete a number of key projects prior to his departure at the end of his notice period. He has been a great asset during his time with us and we wish him well in his future career.”
