Biggest, most expensive superyacht ever auctioned will go under the hammer

The biggest and most expensive superyacht ever to be auctioned is about to go under the hammer in Australia.

On the 21st of May a luxury 122ft super yacht, designed by the world famous Dubois Naval Architects, will go on show at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show a couple of days before it’s auctioned.

The luxury motor yacht, named Masteka 2, can accommodate up to 12 guests and six crew, with four luxury VIP suites, captain and crew quarters and a very large master suite with its own study, bathroom and Jacuzzi.

The superyacht was built with expedition capabilities and as a result is of a very high standard. It’s powered by twin Caterpillar C32S producing 1675 HP each engine, with a cruising range of 3700 nautical miles at 8.5 knots.

The auction could be “a great opportunity for the astute purchaser to acquire a near new motor super yacht well under half the replacement cost of $20 million,” said Adrian Seiffert from Marine Auctions.

Masteka 2 will go on show on the 19th of May, before being auctioned off on the 21st.
