Burger Boat Company of Wisconsin, US has launched Sycara IV a 46m (151ft) fantail motoryacht styled after the classic yachts of the 1920s.
Sycara IV was lowered into the Manitowoc River by Burger’s 500-tonne travelift last Saturday.
Bruce King developed Sycara IV’s hull lines while Ken Freivokh worked with the owner and the Burger Design Team to develop the layout and period-appropriate interior and exterior detail.
After her final fit-out and sea trials, Sycara IV will travel through the Great Lakes and onto this year’s Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Founded in 1863, Burger Boat Company designs and builds custom yachts in aluminium and/or steel up to 60m (200ft).
