Sanlorenzo's 34.1-metre SD112 is the first yacht featuring interior design by Citterio Viel
The Sanlorenzo SD112 Kathleen, delivered to her Scottish owners in October, is the first yacht designed by Antonio Citterio. The Citterio Viel studio, based in Milan, is know for its architecture, interior and product design.
“The SD112 range emphasises the curve of its hull rather than concealing it, revealing its striking beauty. The living area has been entirely redesigned, so now the carefully achieved, elegant details complement lifestyle comfort in optimised spaces where every interior displays a fusion of quality and personalisation, a combination of the owner’s precise requirements and practical technical considerations,” Sanlorenzo says. “The SD112 Kathleen recalls the atmosphere of the grand private yachts of yesteryear, reinterpreting their timeless elegance and time-honoured style.”
“Remaining true to its stylistic code of timeless lines that transcend passing trends, Sanlorenzo is famous for collaborating with the finest contemporary interior design brands, welcoming ‘on board’ well-known design companies and individual designers. The company now consolidates the unbreakable link between home and yacht, living and the sea, combining the two worlds by creating elegant innovations that appeal to owners throughout the world,” the yard says.
After the Sanlorenzo SD112, Antonio Citterio’s next project for the yard was a 42-metre 460EXP, commissioned by a Swiss owner.
