First appearance of Sanlorenzo's new flagship, the 52Steel

Sanlorenzo’s flagship 52Steel made its public bow in Monaco last week. The first steel-and-aluminium Sanlorenzo 52Steel was christened Seven Sins by her Belgian owner during a ceremony in January. The yacht is due to appear at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. Three further 52Steels are in build at Sanlorenzo Superyacht, its new facility in La Spezia.

Key features include a floodable tender garage, a full-beam beach club gym, an internal staircase in Carrara marble, a glass exhibition case displaying the owner’s chosen artwork, and a sixth guest cabin on the bridge deck. The owners meanwhile benefit from a suite of staterooms on the main deck that includes a private office, a full-beam cabin and an ensuite that makes use of sculpted marble. Twin MTU 12V4000 M63 engines deliver a 17.5-knot top speed, and a 15-knot cruise that allows for a 4,000-mile range.
