The 106-metre Lürssen Amadea has been delivered to her new owner
The stunning 106-metre Lürssen Amadea, which began life as Project Mistral and launched last summer, has been delivered to her new owner. She was photographed last week on passage down the Kiel Canal, after which she headed north along the Norwegian coast before rounding Scotland and cruising down the Irish Sea.
Espen Øino’s exterior styling is particularly striking, with the cascading geometrical shapes of the forward deck areas catching the eye. The foredeck is dominated by a helipad. Aft on the main deck is a large pool, which has been covered for passage-making. Further details of the Lürssen Amadea remain thin on the ground, and even the LOA of 106 metres is a best guesstimate.
