The 92-metre superyacht hit the North Sea in October for tests.
Seen on sea trials back in October is the 92-metre Feadship Aquarius. Built for an experienced owner, she boasts and interior by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and exterior lines by Sinot and Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
Her profile indicates her Feadship DNA, with her traditional bow and slim beam, giving the yacht a clean silhouette and enhanced fuel efficiency.
“Having enjoyed his time on yachts from renowned yards, the owner of Aquarius recognised that the only way to move up to the highest possible standard was to come to Feadship,” comments CEO Henk de Vries. “The client is a fiercely competitive player in the hospitality business and highly ambitious in terms of his personal possessions. It has been a pleasure to work with him on this phenomenal project.”
The client’s experience in the hospitality and high-end hotel sectors is apparent on Aquarius, with the infrastructure of the galleys, pantries and crew service areas optimised to the highest degree. Aquarius sleeps 12 guests, looked after by 31 crew. The owner enjoys a private deck, which includes a suite and two bathrooms aft and amidships, and an observation room and cinema forward. The bridge sits below and looks out over the flush bow.
Powered by twin 2,240kW MTUs, the yacht has a range of 5,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
