Feadship launches 52m refit

Dutch superyacht builder Feadship De Vries has launched a 52.25m (172ft) refit, the European owned Pegasus (pictured), from its Makkum yard.

Built in 1995 by sister yard Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer as White Rabbit, Pegasus was brought ‘home’ for a 10-month refit and an extension of almost 3m (10ft).

Changes to Pegasus included enlargement of the folding swim platform, extension of the main, bridge and sun decks aft, and internal refurbishment.

Two yacht builders — Koninklijke De Vries and Royal Van Lent — and naval architect De Voogt make up the Feadship group. In addition to refit, Feadship also offers dedicated charter services.
