The stunning Perini Navi sailing yacht Maltese Falcon was today presented with the first Baccarat SuperYacht World trophy at the Monaco Yacht Show, after topping SuperYacht World’s poll for the Finest Superyacht Ever.

The trophy, created by Baccarat in its tradition of perfection, was handed to the Elena Ambrosiadou – owner of Maltese Falcon – by SuperYacht World editor Paul Ashton in front of a gathering of industry heads.

“It gives me immense pleasure to give this award to such an iconic yacht that has captured the imagination of so many superyacht owners and designers since her launch in 2006.” he said.

The poll of the Top 50 Finest Superyachts Ever appeared in SuperYacht World’s July/August issue.

The presentation took place aboard Engelberg, a stunning new Amels presented by Ocean Independence. SuperYacht World wishes to thank the owners of Engelberg for their kind permission in allowing the magazine to host the event aboard their new yacht.
