The UK’s Isle of Man Yacht Forum, which works to promote local companies that are involved with the superyacht industry, has appointed new officers who will stand for a two-year period before new elections are called.
The new officers are:
Robert Tobin – Chairman (Dohle Private Clients)
Ben Hextall – Vice Chairman (Oceanweb)
Mike Dean – Marketing & Events (Equiom)
Mike King – Treasurer (Lombard Manx)
Lisa Osland – Secretary (Abacus)
Chairman Rob Tobin says that the forum, which was founded in 2004, has become a significant force in the superyachting industry and has promoted the Isle of Man as a centre of excellence to a global audience.
“This past year has been momentous for the forum,” says Tobin. “In addition to continued presence at the major shows and conferences by members of the forum, we held our first international conference in London. This conference, which was attended by over 150 industry professionals, resulted in considerable publicity for the island and its services to the superyacht industry and we are now planning future events for the forum.”
