Kingship unveils 42m design

Hong Kong superyacht yard Kingship has launched the design of a 42m (138ft) superyacht developed with Dutch design firm Vripack International.

With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the new tri-deck full displacement 138 will offer a cruising speed of 11kt, a top speed of 13kt and a transoceanic range.

Features of the 138 include an exterior balcony adjoined to the stateroom, a full beam sky lounge and capacious outer decks.

To be built to Lloyds and MCA requirements, the Kingship 138 will begin construction at the end of 2009.

The 138 is the culmination of a six-year collaboration between Kingship and Vripack, who together developed the Kingship 90, 110, 125 and 131 projects.
