The MYBA Charter Show, which ends tomorrow, has proved an excellent showcase for scores of charter yachts and superyacht service providers.
More than 50 charter yachts have been gathered this week in Genoa for the 2016 MYBA Charter Show, giving captains and crews the chance to showcase their wares to the global community of yacht charter brokers. You can read about some of the great yachts on show here.
Tomorrow’s final day of the event will be marked by the annual Chefs’ Competition, of which SuperYacht World is a sponsor. The theme of this year’s contest – which has been judged by an expert panel throughout the show – is Italian cuisine, in recognition of the fact that the show has been based in Italy for 27 years, with San Remo playing host before Genoa. Chefs were asked to prepare three classic Italian dishes: a pasta dish, a main course and a dessert. The chefs were free to choose dishes from any region in Italy. There will also be awards for the best crew service and the best table settings.
