Perini Navi Group has launched the ninth yacht in its series of 56m (183.7ft) aluminium ketches. The hull and superstructure was completed at the group’s Turkish plant, Perini Istanbul — Yildiz, before being moved to Viareggio for finishing at Perini Navi’s Production Department.

The ketch-rigged yacht has two aluminium masts with carbon fibre booms and the sail plan was completed by Perini Navi’s naval architects in collaboration with Ron Holland.

The Perini Navi Group has also handed over the motor yacht Exuma the first of three Vitruvius series units sold under the Picchiotti brand. This new generation of motor yachts is the result of a collaboration of Vitruvius, Philippe Briand and the Perini Navi Group. According to the Perini Navi Group, the focus of the Vitruvius series design is on a fully autonomous navigation in stylish comfort.

Exuma was designed with exploration in mind and is fitted with large stowage areas for the necessary equipment.
