Italian superyacht builder Sanlorenzo has delivered its first SD122, a 38-metre semi-displacement yacht, to an owner in Hong Kong. The news comes after the yard recently sold a 46Steel yacht to a client in Hong Kong that is due for delivery in 2014, while it has also announced the opening of a dedicated office in Beijing.
The SD122 Lady Cecilia (above) was transported from Genoa by cargo ship. The yacht is not the first Sanlorenzo to land in China: since the early 1990s more than 20 Sanlorenzo SL100s have been delivered to Hong Kong, many of which can still be seen at the local marina.
The yard has also announced the opening of Sanlorenzo China in Beijing, with Grace Yang (above) as its representative for the Chinese market. It has plans to open a second office at Sanya on Hainan Island, the venue of the 2013 Hainan Rendezvous.
