Aeolian, the 28m sailing yacht built by Holland Jachtbouw and designed by Andre Hoek, has been sold for £2.6m.
“Aeolian has an enviable reputation as a yacht of outstanding quality,” explained Will Bishop, Head of YPI’s Sailing Division. She was built by the famous Holland Jachtbouw yard and was justifiably nominated for the International Superyacht Society awards.”
“She has gone to a great new owner,” Will added, “and we would like to congratulate William Christie of YCO London for the role he played in representing the buyer as well as the brokers that helped to successfully market Aeolian.”
The superyacht has been maintained to the highest standards since she was launched in 1998. Her most recent yard period was in 2007/2008 when she underwent a multi-million pound full refit.
With a cruising speed of 9 knots and space for up to eight guests, Aeolian was sold for £2.3million through YPI Brokerage.
