A drone flying over a refit yard in captured the devastating fire that tore through the 31.1-metre superyacht Polar Bear, a 2011 launch from the Citadel Yachts yard in Washington. The fire happened at Marine Group Boat Works in San Diego, where the yacht was undergoing refit work. According to a posing on the Marine Group Boat Works Facebooks page: “A fire broke out at about 9:15 this morning [19 June]. Everyone was evacuated and has been safely accounted for, and the fire department and the amazing emergency response team (harbor police, police department, medical services) has been working diligently and swiftly to put the fire out. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.”
