Promising 32 knots in its triple-engine configuration, the 55-metre Acapulco superyacht concept from the board of Christian Grande Design Works is a powerful beast that has more than a hint of sportscar design in the quirkily kinking lines of its aerodynamic superstructure.

Forward on deck is a vast sunbathing area and hot-tub with biminis providing shade when you are at anchor, which is likely to be the main socialising area on board. The sundeck has been conceived as an ‘attic terrace’, with a bar and shower. Inside, the twin central staircase leads to an owner’s suite. In the interior renderings, Christian Grande has contrasted dark, shiny surfaces with clear matté elm flooring and bronze toned ceilings.
