The 39.9-metre yacht is her owner’s second Mangusta, and the fourth example of the new Maxi Open range  (following the 94, 110 and 165 E). We reported the sale of the yacht earlier in the year. The 132 incorporates the features of the new range, including new glazing on the main deck, more aggressive lines, and a more generous sundeck.

A new hull capitalises on the hydrodynamic improvements of the Mangusta 165, as well as waterjet propulsion and zero-speed stabilisers. “It is now possible to sail at a low speed at reduced consumption whilst enjoying comfort at all times,” the yard says. Twin 3,440kW MTUs drive two Kamewa waterjets to a cruising speed of 32 knots and a top speed of 37.

For his new 132, the owner chose a four-cabin layout with an extra salon on the lower deck (the standard is five cabins). The interior has been created in house.
