Building the tenders for Seven Seas last year has clearly been fruitful for Maine builder Hodgdon: they have recently signed contracts for four more tenders. Two 10.5-metre limo tenders, one open, have been commissioned for an Oceanco client. The new build design and construction specifications for these designs by Michael Peters Yacht Designs were developed by A.J. Anderson of Wright Maritime Group, based in Fort Lauderdale.
Another pair of tenders, custom designs by Andrew Winch and Hodgdon, are 8.5 metres each. One has a retractable moon roof and a cruising speed of 30 knots; the other is fitted with a ramp that lowers onto a beach for easy embarkation. They are due for delivery in early 2013.
