Pictured leaving the Lürssen yard for her intial sea trials this morning is the remarkable Azzam, at 180 metres the largest superyacht in the world. It is anticipated that the first trials will last three days. With 94,000 horsepower generated by her two gas turbines and two diesel engines, she will be capable of around 30 knots. The yacht, whose surprisingly slender lines have been designed by Nauta Yachts, is due to be handed over later this year. The project has been managed by Burgess.
