The Columbus 40SH, which has been renamed Eleonora III, has been sold to a US client, with Dean Anthony of Allied Marine’s superyacht division acting for the buyer, and the commercial office of Palumbo Group, headed by Giuseppe Palumbo, acting for the yard's side.

The yacht, which launched in 2013, is the first Columbus sold to a US client. The yard says that the buyer has been so impressed he has agreed to be a brand ambassador for Columbus Yachts in the Americas in a long term co-operation. He has also ordered a restyling of the interior. The Columbus 40SH will spend this summer in the Mediterranean and then relocate to the US.
