CRN’s new flagship superyacht, the 80-metre steel and aluminium Chopi Chopi, was successfully launched in Ancona on Saturday. She’s the largest yacht ever built by CRN and one of the biggest ever produced in Italy. Chopi Chopi is to remain at the shipyard for sea trials and final fitting out before delivery to her owner in May. The yacht’s first cruise will be in the Adriatic.

Chopi Chopi boasts a master cabin and five double guest cabins, with a lower deck configured for 33 crew and staff. There’s a spa, gym and beach club on the lower deck, while guests on the main deck benefit from patio spaces outside their cabins. The upper deck lounge and dining area boast sliding windows, while above this is an exclusive owner’s deck that has private spaces forward and aft.

The yacht’s exterior lines and interior layout is by Studio Zuccon International Project, while the interior is by Studio Laura Sessa. “The building of a truly unique piece like Chopi Chopi is a tangible example of how creativity, design, technology and craftsmanship can harmoniously achieve absolute excellence. Today’s launch should make our company, its employees and the whole Italian boating sector proud,” says CRN’s chairman and CEO Lamberto Tacoli. The yacht is scheduled to appear at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. CRN, celebrating its fiftieth birthday this year, is also launching a 60-metre and a 43-metre in the next few months.
