Ecstasea, the 86m Feadship superyacht, has introduced a policy of carbon offsetting her fuel. Yacht Carbon Offset has worked through the yacht’s Abu-Dhabi based managers Al Seer Marine to balance Ecstasea’s carbon footprint.

Al Seer’s Managing Director Alexander Drinkwater said “Abu Dhabi is rapidly building its sustainable energy capability, and low carbon developments are a high priority for the Emirate. For the owners of yachts such as Ecstasea that choose the UAE as a home base, a practical response to the vessel’s greenhouse gas emissions makes perfect sense.”

Ecstasea’s Captain Lee Mann commented: “Ecstasea takes pride in the highest standards of environmental performance, and a response to the yacht’s greenhouse gas emissions is part of this.”
