Feadship’s tour of China and Singapore with the 45-metre Helix has certainly proved a huge success: a Chinese client who visited the yacht requested a similar-sized vessel that includes a helicopter deck. Feadship immediately designed and engineered this option, and presented it for approval, which was duly granted. The build is now under way, with delivery scheduled before the Chinese New Year in 2013. A rendering of the new yacht is shown below.

We are honoured that one of those visitors has chosen to be a pioneer for his country and place the first exclusive superyacht order for the People’s Republic of China.”
