The iconic Feadship Lionwind, which launched in 1983, is now available on brokerage from Denison Super Yacht Division.
From the board of the legendary Jon Bannenberg, the 47-metre still has an other-worldly and contemporary look on the water, thanks to the extensive glazing and the sharp angles. “It deserves to be respected as well as preserved,” says Glynn Smith, broker at Denison Super Yacht Division. “This is a vintage yacht waiting for the right client to restore it, a classic style that needs a classy owner that has a passion for these yachts.” A refit plan has already been put in place by the team at Sunrise Yachts, which includes a transom extension. The yacht currently has five guest cabins, but could easily be converted to six.
The aluminium-hulled yacht is asking $3.95 million, with a market position described as “very aggressive”. In her pomp, she had a top speed of 21 knots.
