Benetti’s 44-metre superyacht Checkmatelaunched in June and the latest in the yard’s hugely successful composite Vision 145 range – will make her US debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October. The black-hulled beauty, with exterior lines by Stefano Righini and an interior by Zuretti, is the 15th Vision launched by the yard.

The yacht’s interior is a combination of cherry and burr madrona woods with dark neo-classical inlays, giving a rich and warm feeling. She carries ten guests in four suites below (two VIP doubles and two twins), and a main deck master suite with a half-moon of windows forward that opens onto a private deck area. The playful use of curves and circles is echoed on the bridge deck with a formal dining area aft, and on the sundeck with its circular hot-tub and semi-circle of seating.

“This is a further demonstration of Benetti’s ability to listen to the client and interpret his specific needs. And above all it’s another example of the perfect blend of timeless design, world-class construction, safety, and an extremely high quality on-board life, both for the owner and his crew,” says Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of the Mega-yacht division of the Azimut/Benetti Group.
