Shown here against a stunning Rio de Janeiro backdrop, Benetti’s Delfino 93 made its Brazilian debut as the longest yacht at the Rio Boat Show 2014. The 28.5-metre superyacht named Zaphira is the fifth in its series and is the first to be owned by a Brazilian.
The owner was keen to ensure that Zaphira’s designer Stefano Righini reflected the Italian heritage of her builders, Benetti. The sumptuous blue exterior, complete with bulb keel and electric fin stabilisers, compliments Carlo Galeazzi’s contemporary and light interior design in which windows play a key role. Bands of smoked glass are set alongside light fixtures by Oluce and Estro, whilst dark ebony panelling contrasts with iridescent white leather sofas and surfaces.
The yacht sleeps 12 in a spacious owner cabin, two VIP, and two twin-bed guest cabins. The outdoor areas, which total 141 square metres, include a sundeck with a sociable shaded dining area and six-person Jacuzzi.
