What do you do when you’re the owner of a 60-metre Lürssen? For the owner of Quattroelle the answer was simple: you upgrade to an even bigger Lürssen. The 86-metre Nuvolari-Lenard design Quattroelle, launched earlier this year, is already doing sterling service for this experienced owner who has set his mind on cruising far and wide. The name itself is Italian for ‘four Ls’ – which stand for Love, Life, Liberty and Luxury.

She’ll clearly be a yacht that is great for entertaining: the formal dining area takes 16, expandable to 20, and the yacht has five guest suites along with an extensive owner’s area, which includes a study, two dedicated children’s cabins and panoramic views from the main suite. The deck area forward is meant for the owner’s use but it can be configured as a helideck. There are many options for guests throughout, including a main deck library, a cinema, gym, massage room and sauna. Crew accommodation (which boasts 15 cabins) also includes room for a nanny.

The interior, which has also been designed by Nuvolari-Lenard, is described as “eclectic contemporary”, and they point out that: “Everything has been designed on this yacht” – from the bespoke tenders to the crew uniforms. The owner’s captain Paul Bell has overseen the project from the start, along with Robert Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship. For more images, click here
