The 104-metre Tim Heywood-designed superyacht Quantum Blue, which was recently delivered by Lürssen was part of an unusual photo opportunity recently when she was spotted (left) at the Bremen yard close to her sister, the 115-metre Pelorus. Quantum Blue is currently being prepared by the yard for her maiden cruise this spring, while the 2003 Pelorus – also a Heywood design – had just completed a refit.

There are few details of the new yacht, although the interior design is by Alberto Pinto. She looks set to become as impressive a sight on the water as her famed sister. Pelorus was voted into second place in our search for the most beautiful superyacht of all time.
