The 75-metre Mirabella V, the largest single-masted sailing yacht in the world, has arrived at Pendennis for refit. She follows Hemisphere, the world’s largest sailing catamaran, which was built at the yard and launched last summer (look out for the full report of this exciting yacht in our next issue!). Mirabella V’s refit is expected to take a year, and will involve her original designers Redman Whiteley Dixon and naval architect Ron Holland. Changes will include extending the stern by 3 metres and the installation of a side platform for boarding.

The yacht has been renamed M5 by her new owner.
