The magnificent 96-metre VAVA II is shown heading to the Caribbean from her Devon birthplace on her maiden voyage in March, after successful sea trials and handover. The biggest-ever private yacht to emerge from a British yard, VAVA II launched at the Devonport Shipyard, now part of Pendennis Plus, in September. She features exterior styling by Redman Whiteley Dixon and an interior from Rémi Tessier. The build was managed by Burgess. According to Devonport, VAVA II features spacious tender garages forward and aft, and a variable-depth swimming pool, but there are few other details forthcoming about this very private yacht.
