Carving a lonely wake in the deserted seas off between Sorrento and Capri on sea trial in January is the M’Ocean, the first 115 from the innovative Arcadia yard.
The yard’s splendid 85 has been on the water for a couple of years, its head-turning looks and eco-friendly features setting it apart.
The 115 is a big leap forward but is equally distinctive, with its solar panels atop the bridge deck. They are not there just to tick green boxes – they charge the superyacht’s battery banks. The yard has also placed much attention on sewage treatment and noise pollution.
She wears her green credentials with style. In the main salon, vast side terraces open the area up, while in the upper salon you’ll benefit from all that glass. Interior and exterior furnishings from Poltrona Frau give the 115 a clean and uncluttered ambience. The superyacht’s owner was on the sea trial, and is looking forward to a season of private cruising. Arcadia has just taken a second 115 out of the mould.
