The Bilgin yard in Turkey has signed a contact to build its biggest yacht to date – a steel-and-aluminium 80-metre, dubbed Bilgin 263.
The contract has been signed to a repeat client of the yard, based in Istanbul. Exterior styling and naval architecure is from Bilgin’s long-term collaborator Unique Yacht Design, based in Antalya. An interior designer has yet to be appointed.
Early renderings show a sleek hull, with a main deck, bridge deck and sundeck. There is a huge pool aft on the main deck, with a glass panel in the transom forming its after end. Below this, inside the beach club area, is an inside pool, with light coming through the pool above, and a fold down terrace to starboard creating an attractive beach club area. The sundeck is particularly spacious, with a hot-tub forward, a lounging area aft and an enclosed area amidships.
Guest accommodation is on a master suite, three VIPs and four suites. She has a design speed of 18 knots, with a projected 14-knot cruise. The yacht is due to launch in 2019.
Bilgin also has a 155 and 156 in build.
