The 50M Project Teseo promises all-weathers cruising in a flexible package.
Studio Zuccon International Project has designed the 50M Project Teseo expedition yacht, based on an existing platform at CRN. As well as providing go-anywhere cruising, the brief for Zuccon was to reinterpret the tradtional styling features of expedition yachts in a contemporary light.
“One key theme was to create flexible, functional and dynamic spaces that change with the needs of the person using the boat. A number of areas on various decks have been set aside to be transformed and adapted in response to potential differences in the requirements of owners,” says Bernardo Zuccon of Zuccon International Project.
The distribution of the cabins over four decks can also be varied considerably, with an owners’ suite either on the main deck or lower deck, while the main deck aft can be customised for outdoor living, as a diving platform or for tender storage.
“The concept of ‘the boat’ has been interpreted incorrectly in recent decades, only too often considered a mere toy for grown-ups, totally losing sight of the boat’s traditional function, the purpose for which it was conceived and created,” Bernardo Zuccon says.
