Custom Line has showcased its latest design, the flagship Navetta 42, at the recent Yachts Miami Beach boat show.

The 42-metre semi-displacement Navetta 42 has been designed by Studio Zuccon International Project along with the Ferretti Group’s in-house team. She will be the first Navetta over 300 GT, and is pegged for launch in 2018.

A key feature of the new yacht is outdoor enjoyment, with a spacious beach club and a side-opening tender garage and launching system to dispense the toys. As well as a sizeable sundeck, there is also a big guest area forward on the main deck. The Navetts 42 boasts a flexible layout, with either four of five suites below, and the owner’s cabin forward on the main deck. The lower deck crew areas sleep up to seven, with a captain’s cabin behind the wheelhouse on the upper deck. The yard says that the yacht “will ensure the most efficient organisation of on-board flows, offering total privacy for the owner and the guests, and great freedom of movement for the captain and crew”. The interior design is customisable to the owner’s requirements.

Five different engine configurations are possible, from 1,000kW to 1,300kW, with a projected range of 3,000 nautical miles at a ten-knot cruise.
The previous biggest Custom Line, the Navetta 37, was unveiled as a concept last year, but will launch later this year, marking 20 years of the Custom Line brand.
